Privacy Policy
Reino da Perspectiva
This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.
Information we process
Reino da Perspectiva stores your silhouettes, fragment geometry and transformations, project names, versions, camera and video settings, challenge progress and app preferences locally on your device. It creates a random installation secret and keeps it in the iOS Keychain. There are no accounts or sign-in, and the app does not request your name, email address or location. If you choose optional backup, the app sends encrypted project and progress content, project identifiers and modification dates to the application server. The server stores a cryptographic hash of the installation secret, an installation identifier and registration date. Requests to the website or API necessarily expose network information, such as an IP address, to the hosting infrastructure. Short-lived hashes of connection addresses are used in server memory for rate limiting. Exported videos are generated locally and saved to Photos only when you request it. Existing photos are not read.
How we use information
Local data lets you create and reopen spatial illusions, compare versions, retain challenge progress and render videos while offline. Optional server data provides backup and merging for the same installation. Installation authorization restricts access to that installation’s records. Network information and bounded rate limits help deliver the public privacy page and protect the API from abuse. Internal error identifiers help diagnose service faults. There is no advertising, analytics SDK, profiling or sale of data.
Service providers and sharing
The optional backup backend is hosted on Railway, which processes requests and stores application data as infrastructure provider. Railway may process connection details and infrastructure logs under its own service practices. The application does not send project content to other external services. Apple’s Photos library receives videos you explicitly save, and a destination you select through the system share sheet receives the video you choose to share. Your device and Photos may participate in backups or cloud synchronization according to your Apple settings. The app does not control those services.
Data retention
Local projects and progress remain until you delete them or remove the app, subject to your device’s backup settings. The installation secret remains in Keychain until the app’s installation-data deletion action removes it; uninstalling alone may leave a Keychain item. Server projects and progress, when backup is enabled on a deployed service, remain until you delete the corresponding project or installation. The backend has no scheduled content-expiry job and creates no application-level backup copies. Rate-limit entries expire after one minute and are removed by periodic cleanup, normally within about ninety seconds. No fixed retention period is asserted for Railway infrastructure logs or provider-managed copies because that configuration has not been established.
Deleting your information
You can delete a project from My works. If server backups exist, the app requests deletion of the associated server project before removing its local copy. Delete installation data in Settings removes local projects and challenge progress, the installation secret, and the installation’s server records when they exist. A network failure retains the secret so server deletion can be retried. Exported videos already in Photos or shared elsewhere are not deleted by this action; remove them in those destinations. SQL deletion removes active records; underlying storage pages and any provider or device backups may retain remnants until overwritten or expired under the relevant provider’s practices. Losing the installation secret prevents access to or recovery of its encrypted backups.
Permissions and your choices
The app requests add-only access to Photos when you export a video. It does not read your existing photo library and does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or notification access. You can withdraw Photos permission in iOS Settings; local creation and saving remain available, while saving new exports to Photos may fail until you restore permission. Optional backup can be disabled in app Settings without deleting existing server data. Use the deletion controls to remove retained data.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data. You can inspect and edit your local projects and use the app’s deletion controls. For privacy questions or to exercise applicable rights, contact LinneaTorrance2@icloud.com. This is a public privacy contact, not an account identifier or an in-app email-delivery feature. Because there is no account or personal identity record, identifying a particular installation may be necessary to act on a request; do not send your installation secret by email. You may also contact your local data protection authority where applicable.
Security
The app uses a random 32-byte installation secret stored in a device-only Keychain item. Optional backups use authenticated AES-GCM encryption before transmission, with a key derived from that secret. The server stores only a hash of the authorization secret and enforces installation-scoped access, input size limits and rate limits. The deployment configuration requires HTTPS for the application endpoint. This storage encryption is not claimed to be end-to-end encryption against the server, because the secret is supplied to authorize requests. Local project files remain subject to iOS device protection. No system can guarantee complete security; protect your device and avoid sharing its secret.
Children’s privacy
The app is a creative workshop intended for teenagers aged sixteen and above and adults. It is not designed to collect information from children under thirteen. It contains no accounts, advertising, social profiles or public posting. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the optional backend, contact LinneaTorrance2@icloud.com so the matter can be assessed.
Changes to this policy
This policy is effective on October 15, 2026. It will be updated when the app’s data processing or hosting practices change. The current version is provided in the app and on the public privacy page. The effective date identifies the latest policy revision. Material changes will be reflected in the updated app or policy page.
